We are a team of passionate people who saw an emerging gap in the marketing research industry and jumped in to fill it. We see the internet as one giant focus group just waiting to be listened to... so we decided to listen and measure it.

Biographies:

Tessie Ting | Senior Vice President, Operations
Tessie has more than 30 years of experience in the marketing research industry most recently serving as Vice President at Ipsos Interactive Services. Prior to Ipsos, Tessie was the Head of Panel and Operations at the NPD Group. During her time at Ipsos, Tessie was responsible for growing their North American online survey panel to more than half a million members and keeping those members happy. Tessie remembers every number she's ever heard (except for her golf scores) and delights in playing with her doggies, Louis and Coco. She also loves travelling and remembers each city by her favourite foods.

Annie Pettit | Chief Research Officer (Conversition) & VP, Research Standards (Research Now)
Annie is a PhD qualified online market researcher who specializes in social and industrial organizational psychology. Annie is the architect of the Conversition platform having developed the sentiment analysis, content analysis, and data quality systems, as well as initial design of the portal and its capabilities, while a consultant and subsequently as CRO. Previously, Annie was the VP of Online Panel Analytics at Ipsos as well as a Research Scientist at ICOM. Her expertise in research methods and data quality has been highlighted through numerous conference presentations, including CASRO, MRA ,MRIA, NetGain, and IIR. She has also published numerous articles in both professional and refereed magazines and journals. Annie maintains the LoveStats marketing research blog where she occasionally showcases her attempts at being a better baker and gardener.

Mike Mayers | Vice President, Business Development (a Research Now partner company)
Mike serves as Vice President of Business Development at Conversition. In his role, Mike coordinates the business development team which is focused on providing social media insight tools to the market research community. Prior to the acquisition of Conversition in May 2011, Mike served as Director of Syndicated Research Services for Research Now, where he was responsible for originating, developing, and managing global strategic partnerships.

Mike joined Research Now in 2008, bringing with him an extensive background in strategy & planning, new venture execution, corporate business development, and strategic partnership development. Prior to joining Research Now, Mike served as Corporate Development Manager at Barclays Commercial Bank and also as Strategy Manager within Barclays’ Group Strategy & Planning, the internal consulting arm of the Barclays Group. Mike began his professional career as a commissioned officer in the British Army.

Mike graduated magna cum laude from the University of Sheffield’s Department of Civil and Structural Engineering.
