Who are we?

We are a team of passionate people who saw an emerging gap in the marketing research industry and jumped in to fill it. We see the internet as one giant focus group just waiting to be listened to... so we decided to listen and measure it.

Founders Bio's:

Jean Davis
Jean was most recently the President of Ipsos Online in North America. Before Ipsos, Jean was Senior Vice President Operations of the NPD Group. Jean brings with her more than 25 years of global marketing research experience. She's been in the trenches digging through data and out on the forefront pushing for quality in research. Jean is a fabulous story teller and motivator, and is the inciter of much laughter.

Tessie Ting
Tessie has more than 30 years of experience in the marketing research industry most recently serving as Vice President at Ipsos Interactive Services. Prior to Ipsos, Tessie was the Head of Panel and Operations at the NPD Group. During her time at Ipsos, Tessie was responsible for growing their North American online survey panel to more than half a million members and keeping those members happy. Tessie remembers every number she's ever heard (except for her golf scores) and delights in playing with her doggies, Louis and Coco. She also loves travelling and remembers each city by her favourite foods.

Annie Pettit
Annie is a PhD qualified online market researcher who specializes in social and industrial organizational psychology. Annie is the architect of evolisten having developed the sentiment analysis, content analysis, and data quality systems, as well as initial design of the portal and its capabilities, while a consultant and subsequently as CRO. Previously, Annie was the VP of Online Panel Analytics at Ipsos as well as a Research Scientist at ICOM. Her expertise in research methods and data quality has been highlighted through numerous conference presentations, including CASRO, MRA ,MRIA, NetGain, and IIR. She has also published numerous articles in both professional and refereed magazines and journals. Annie maintains the LoveStats marketing research blog where she occasionally showcases her attempts at being a better baker and gardener.
